Book Law Publications retail shop is located on Carlton Hill (previously the A612 Southwell - Carlton - Nottingham road) on the north, or outward bound, side of the road from the city. Carlton Hill is a busy location with shops on both sides of the road at the crest of the hill.
Visiting Book Law Publications Using Public Transport 
Nottingham City Transport operate a frequent service of buses to Carlton Hill from the city centre of Nottingham - King Street, off The Old Market Square. The following services leave King Street at frequent daytime intervals, and also call at Victoria Centre: 25, 26 and 27. The local suburban towns of Arnold and Mapperley are connected via services 25 and 26 and local passengers from these areas can use this service to visit our premises. Visiting Book Law Publications By Car From The North
If you are approaching Nottingham from the north i.e. A614 or A60, follow the City Centre signs passing through Sherwood and Carrington before reaching a large traffic island with bus lane on your left. Continue towards the city which is slightly left and up the hill with a large cemetery on your right. After the traffic lights at the top of the hill, move over to the left lane and take the left fork (Huntingdon Street) at the next traffic lights within 75 meters. Continue ahead for approximately 1km (through several traffic lights) until the road merges with the Post Office Sorting Office on your left. Move over to the left lane passing Gedling Street on your left at a pedestrian crossing. Take the next left into Southwell Road. Southwell Road is less than100m long and changes to Carlton Road at the traffic lights. Proceed ahead for around 1.25km passing through several pedestrian and passing a large old school now a college on your right . At the traffic lights with Porchester Road continue ahead with garage on your left up the hill before the road changes to Carlton Hill at the top where the road bends right. Our premises are located on your left just past the bend.

When entering Nottingham from the east via A612 (Colwick Loop Road) - Connections to A46 and A6097: having passed through Burton Joyce, look out for the brick railway viaduct after approximately 2km over the road with traffic lights just after the bridge. Proceed to the next traffic lights taking the right turn into Burton Road. Follow Burton Road for approximately 1km passing through the traffic lights with Gedling Road and Manor Road before reaching Carlton Square. Just prior to the traffic lights at Carlton Square you will see a small shopping centre on your left. Continue straight on keeping Tesco on your right as you begin climbing Carlton Hill for approximately 1km. As you climb the hill the shops become more frequent until they form a parade with a pedestrian crossing. Book Law Publications are located on the opposite side (right or north) just before the shopping parade finishes.

The southern approach to Nottingham is via Trent bridge and the A60. Follow the city centre signs over the bridge and onto London Road which is ahead but around to the left of some buildings on a dual carriage way. Continue straight on througth the traffic lights with Meadow Lane, and those just before the large hump bridge over the railway. Move into the right lane at the lights over the bridge and continue onto the traffic island through the lights. Follow the one way system and take the second right Fisher Gate signposted Sneinton and Carlton. Cross straight over Lower Parliament Street (wide road) at the lights into Pennyfoot Street moving into the left lane. Turn left into Manvers Street remain on the left but move into middle lane to turn right into Southwell Road. Stay in the middle lane and continue straight ahead onto Carlton Road. Southwell Road is less than100m long and changes to Carlton Road at the traffic lights. Proceed ahead for around 1.25km passing through several pedestrian and passing a large old school now a college on your right . At the traffic lights with Porchester Road continue ahead with garage on your left up the hill before the road changes to Carlton Hill at the top where the road bends right. If approaching Nottingham via the M1 - A52 continue towards Nottingham via A52 Derby Road passing Gregorys Roses, Bramcote Swimming Baths and the Beeston turn to the right at traffic lights. At the next Roundabout with the Priory Inn opposite continue ahead with Wollaton Park on your left and Nottingham University on your right. The next roundabout is the intersection with the A6514 Nottingham ring road. take the right lane at the roundabout and take the right exit onto the ring road. Stay in left lane and exit just prior to the fly over on the left onto A6005 Abbey Street. Continue ahead through the traffic lights with Gregory Street over the hump bridge and into the right lane at the island. Take the right exit onto Castle Boulevard with MFI on your left and continue ahead for approximately 1.5km until the centre of Nottingham. Enter the one way at the traffic lights in the middle lane as this is a large island and continue in the middle lane with bus parking on your left and car park to your right. Follow the one way to your right and exit to your left under the tram bridge onto Canal Street. Proceed to traffic island and move into right lane and exit second right onto Fisher Gate signposted Sneinton and Carlton.
